HistoryMole is a world history project which aims to teach history
through a series of 'themed' timelines.
Each theme consists of an article followed by a timeline.
The events in the timeline represent the 'facts' of history as recorded in
numerous sources, and the article gives an 'interpretation' of these
facts.
The events are held in our database which currently has in excess of
20,000 entries and is growing each day. Articles are either written by the
HistoryMole team or are contributed by independent authors.
Of course, you can also use our web site to directly search the event
database searching by text, dates or countries. The results of your
search will lead you relevant themes.
We are a commercial enterprise, and although we may make a small
subscription charge for institutions, we will always ensure that moderate
use for individuals is free. Our full terms
explain this in more detail.
Fee free to browse
the site's themes or use the search
facilities to look for specific events.
